How BespokeSITE handles your information.
This page explains what information we collect, why we use it, and how cookies and similar technologies may be used when you browse the site or send an enquiry.
Privacy Policy
This policy applies to BespokeSITE, operated by Ben Scully. If you have any questions about this policy or the information we hold about you, please contact us using the details on the contact page.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide through enquiry, quick quote, callback, and client-area forms. This can include your name, email address, phone number, business name, website address, project details, and any message you choose to send.
We may also collect basic technical information such as IP address, browser details, form security checks, and activity needed to protect the site, prevent spam, and maintain service reliability.
If you create or use a client-area account, we may also process account, login, service, support, invoice, and billing information. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and quote requests.
- To provide web design, CMS, hosting, domain, SSL, and support services.
- To create and manage client-area accounts, services, support requests, invoices, and payment records.
- To maintain secure forms, client access, and anti-spam protections.
- To keep business records where required for accounting, legal, or service reasons.
Client area, billing, and payments
When you use the client area or billing system, we may process customer account details, service records, invoice history, billing address details, transaction references, payment status, support messages, login activity, and related security logs.
Payments may be handled by trusted third-party payment providers. Those providers may collect and process payment information directly under their own privacy policies and security controls. BespokeSITE does not need to store full card numbers or CVV codes when payments are entered through those providers.
Payment and invoice records may be retained where needed for service management, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal obligations, and tax record keeping.
Lawful basis
We usually process enquiry and service information because it is needed to respond to your request, take steps before entering into a contract, or provide services under a contract. Some records are kept because of legal obligations, such as accounting and tax requirements. Security, fraud prevention, and service improvement may be handled under legitimate interests.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site may use essential cookies for security, session handling, contact form protection, and saving your cookie preference. These are needed for the site to work safely.
Optional cookies may be used if services such as analytics, embedded third-party content, or Google reCAPTCHA are enabled. You can accept or decline optional cookies using the cookie notice at the bottom of the site.
Sharing information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with trusted service providers only where needed to operate the website, deliver services, process email, provide hosting, register domains, issue SSL certificates, process payments, prevent spam, keep accounting records, or meet legal obligations.
How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, including enquiry follow-up, active service delivery, accounting records, security logs, or legal requirements.
Your rights
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or request deletion where there is no overriding legal or service reason for keeping it.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated when site features, services, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
